This Acceptable Use Policy describes what may not be done with Sector 1 Solutions services. It applies to all customers and their users.
Prohibited content and activity
- Anything illegal under applicable law, including infringement of copyright or trademarks.
- Child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualises minors, in any form.
- Malware, phishing pages, credential harvesting or command-and-control infrastructure.
- Unsolicited bulk email (spam) sent from or advertising services hosted with us.
- Denial-of-service attacks, port scanning or unauthorised access attempts against any system.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared or reseller plans.
- Content that harasses, threatens or incites violence against individuals or groups.
- Reselling shared hosting resources without a reseller plan.
Fair use on shared servers
Shared and reseller accounts share server resources. Accounts that consistently consume excessive CPU, memory, I/O or inodes to the detriment of other customers may be asked to upgrade or optimise. Shared plans may not be used primarily for file storage, backup storage or media streaming.
Enforcement
We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, with or without notice depending on severity. Illegal content will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
